We are Croatia’s first and only regular English-speaking comedy production, established in 2023 under the name Zagreb English Comedy. 

Since then, we have produced more than 150 shows in a variety of venues across the city of Zagreb and beyond, making high-quality English comedy accessible to both locals and international audiences.

In the summer of 2024, we organized the country’s first-ever comedy festival entirely in English, featuring acclaimed guest headliners from Los Angeles, Belgium, and more.

Our collective brings together resident comedians from across the world; including the USA, UK, Canada, Peru, Tajikistan, Croatia, and Serbia, offering a rich mix of perspectives and styles. We host a wide range of events, from headline performances and galas to open mics and touring acts, with the goal of establishing English-language comedy as a lasting part of Croatia’s cultural landscape.

Headline Comedy is produced and hosted by Igor Mondae, a seasoned touring comedian, known for his international comedy career that spans over a decade.
Over the years, he built a global presence: performing in 20+ nations and more than 30 cities worldwide, producing more than 2000 shows in total, and co-founding and running the first European tri-lingual comedy club.
